Process

First meeting

When I first meet new prospective clients, I spend as much time as they need getting to know them and their circumstances.  Family, career, goals, needs, and desires will all have an impact on my guidance and how the portfolio will be constructed.

Ongoing meetings

Frequent and clear communication is a critical component to my clients' success.  Clients can expect ongoing discussions about portfolio performance, market activities, risk, and their individual questions and concerns; spending the equivalent of a full day per year dedicated to each client.  This will consist of conversations or meetings centered on your business, personal, or family financial needs.

We can meet at least quarterly or converse regularly by phone or e-mail, depending on your needs and preferences.  We can also meet digitally via webinars if that is more convenient.

Depending on the clients' needs, we will meet to discuss performance and at least one item of interest, including (for example):

  • Tax-efficient investment strategies during the fourth quarter
  • Estate planning and gifting strategies as year-end approaches
  • College education funding for their children (or a new grandchild)
  • Long-term care insurance
  • Annuities and life insurance and how they fit into the plan

Stifel does not provide legal or tax advice.  We encourage you to consult with your legal and tax advisors regarding your particular situation.
